Is pranayam OK for me? I am 64 yr old, suffering from arthritis.

You can go for light pranayams. In fact, some pranayams will cure your arthritis for ever. You should do kapalbhati which is not a pranayam and also do anulom vilom pranayam. If you have an Iyengar yoga center near you, learn these pranayams and some simple asanas.
